a)       PhD in English Literature, Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, or Language Education from a globally recognized university.

b)      A minimum CGPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale at the Master’s level

c)       At least two years of teaching/research experience and one or more publications in indexed journals or reputed international venues within the field of specialization

d)      Age must be less than 45 years at the time of appointment

i.      Prepare course outline, course calendar, lesson plan, tutorial and schedule for students and conduct theoretical, tutorial and practical classes, extension teaching, related research and cooperative field experience.

ii.     Evaluate the students’ achievements and maintain their cumulative records.

iii.    Supervise and guide students’ works and activities inside and outside classrooms

iv.   Identify academic problems of individual students and assist in their solution,

v.    any other duties as may be assigned by the authority.
