Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring the company’s sustainability strategies in alignment with corporate goals and global best practices.
∎ Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, standards, and certifications (e.g., ISO 14001, Higg Index, ZDHC) by coordinating with internal departments and external auditors.
∎ Compile and analyze sustainability data (e.g., energy usage, water consumption, waste generation, carbon footprint) for internal reporting and external disclosures.
∎ Organize training programs and awareness campaigns to educate employees on sustainability issues and encourage eco-friendly practices at all levels.
∎ Identify environmental and social risks in operations and recommend mitigation strategies to senior management.
∎ Assist in drafting and updating sustainability-related policies, including waste management, chemical handling, water usage, and climate action.
∎ Coordinate sustainability-related audits and support the company in achieving and maintaining relevant sustainability certifications.
