Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research and analysis of the garments manufacturing and fashion sectors to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
∎ Policy Development: Design and implement policies and procedures to strengthen corporate governance and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
∎ Governance Frameworks: Develop governance mechanisms, including committees, boards, reporting structures, and performance evaluation frameworks, to foster transparency and accountability.
∎ Strategic Initiatives and Change Management: Lead the formulation of strategic initiatives, defining objectives, activities, key stakeholders, and timelines while integrating change management practices to ensure smooth adoption of new strategies and frameworks across the organization.
∎ Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Develop KPIs for various departments to track and evaluate their performance effectively, including creating associated reporting processes, forms, templates, and mechanisms.
∎ Performance Evaluation: Design comprehensive performance evaluation frameworks, including reporting mechanisms, incentive schemes, and competency assessments.
∎ Monitoring and Reporting: Oversee the monitoring and reporting of organizational performance, including progress on strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations, by developing standardized tools such as templates and processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
∎ Strategic Partnerships: Identify and assess potential strategic partnerships by scanning for relevant partners, evaluating their suitability, and selecting those that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
∎ Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify and suggest opportunities for continuous improvement across governance frameworks, strategic initiatives, and partnership strategies.
∎ We are seeking a dynamic and experienced *Governance and Strategy Manager* to lead and enhance our corporate governance and strategic planning efforts. This role requires independent initiative, a proactive approach to continuous improvement, and the ability to design and implement frameworks that drive the company's long-term success. The successful candidate will independently analyze and identify areas for improvement, develop strategic initiatives, identify strategic partnerships, and propose innovative solutions that align with the organization’s objectives in the garments manufacturing and fashion sectors.
