Education:
  • Bachelor's or Master’s in any discipline.

  • Professional accounting qualification (CA CC with Passed Certificate Level)

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, SEC reporting requirements, and tax regulations.

  • Proven track record in financial management, reporting, and compliance.

  • Advanced proficiency with ERP systems, general ledger tools, and reporting software.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities & Context:
  • Ensuring transactions are recorded properly in accordance with accounting standards and applicable laws and regulations.

  • Monitoring Tax and VAT (TDS, VDS, and VAT Return, withholding return & annual Return)

  • Analysis of A/R, A/P, inventory, GL, cost accounting, and option analysis, and conducting project feasibility and variance analysis.

  • Ensure proper control and reporting on current and non-current assets, including risk management.

  • Prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, tax, VAT, and the Companies Act, and other relevant financial regulations.

  • Coordinate and direct budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis; provide insights and recommendations to management.

  • Establish, monitor, and strengthen internal controls and accounting policies.

  • Track cash flow, manage expenses, and implement strategies to maintain financial stability.

  • Supervise internal audits, liaise with external auditors, and support the preparation of audited financial statements, tax, VAT, and audit documentation.

  • Prepare detailed internal reports, explain significant variances, and provide ad hoc financial analysis for management and investors.

  • Support system upgrades and implement new software for financial reporting and efficiency.

  • Research balance sheet items, income/expense fluctuations, and correct reporting inconsistencies.

  • Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to ensure reporting accuracy and transparency.

  • Mentor and guide finance team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
