∎ B.Sc in Civil or equivalent.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist the Construction Manager in Design, Planning, and Executing building/transmission line construction and renovation projects.
∎ Design, Plan, and Coordinate construction activities on daily basis.
∎ Establish a budget and schedule for construction projects.
∎ Monitor and control expenses within the established budget.
∎ Recommend cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and productivity.
∎ Oversee invoice and payment processing in a timely fashion
∎ Analyze construction problems and develop immediate resolutions.
∎ Respond to customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
∎ Generate construction progress and expense reports for management.
∎ Attend educational, workshops, training, and conferences for professional growth.
∎ Identify slippages or delays in construction and adjust schedules to meet deadlines
∎ Identify milestones and problem areas and accordingly recommend preventive actions.
∎ Work with Construction Manager to develop project plans, quality assurance plans, and health and safety plans.
∎ Analyze RFI responses and monitor and process change orders.
∎ Provide administrative assistance to Construction Manager when needed.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Requires 3-5 years of applicable civil construction experience. Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
∎ Must have an expert understanding of civil Design, and Construction.
∎ Must exhibit advanced knowledge of civil engineering.
∎ Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong leadership skills, attention to safety, and strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
∎ Must be advanced in the use of civil construction-related testing equipment.
∎ Must have proven marketing knowledge and/or client relationships.
∎ Personal qualification:
∎ Fluent in English (Oral & Written)
∎ Computer & Internet knowledge
∎ Strong leadership qualities
∎ Self-motivated
∎ Good communication skills
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills
∎ Analytical skills
