1. Collect blood, urine, stool, and other clinical specimens following proper procedures.

2. Verify patient identity and accurately label specimens.

3. Prepare, handle, store, and transport samples safely to the laboratory.

4. Assist Lab Technologists in routine laboratory activities and sample processing.

5. Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and infection-control standards in the collection area.

6. Maintain proper records of collected and received specimens.

7. Handle laboratory equipment and consumables carefully.

8. Follow hospital/laboratory SOPs, safety guidelines, and quality standards.

9. Communicate professionally with patients and provide basic instructions for sample collection.

10. Report any specimen-related issue, error, or incident to the supervisor immediately.
