Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure Adherence to company policies and defined standard operating procedures at the plant.
∎ Provide inputs from defined scope to top management for annual production planning at group level.
∎ Ensure the preparation of annual, quarterly and monthly production plan for the plant.
∎ Prepare annual budget for the plant and monitor the adherence to budget across the functions.
∎ Ensure efficient operation of plant by proper manpower planning, ensuring proper training & development of the people in unit.
∎ Ensure ongoing improvement in quality of the output of production (Re-bar/Section Bar etc.) and support functions of the plant.
∎ Set targets against matrix for all departments and review performance periodically.
∎ Monitor to ensure production and delivery of manufacturing output as per defined standard/customer requirement by controlling the manufacturing process as per target, cost and quality standards.
∎ Responsible for determining the floor plans for the processing facility that is meant for delivering finished products. Identify the totality of infrastructure needed for using this space in the manufacturing process, including machinery, factory floors, offices and furniture.
∎ Identify and adopt appropriate best practices and latest developments in plant management to streamline processes and maximize business profitability.
∎ Provide guidance and technical expertise to ensure the minimization of non-conformity in production and collaborate with supporting functions and QMCI to address and eliminate the root cause for NC products.
∎ Oversee the proper management of maintenance spares to control maintenance cost.
∎ Oversee the availability of supplies of raw materials & store items and distribution plan for the unit.
∎ Conduct periodic technical audits and inspections as required.
∎ Manage grievance of employees properly at unit level to ensure good industrial relations.
∎ Ensure acquire / renewal of all regulatory and compliance certificates for the plant to comply the policies.
∎ Responsible for establishing, implementing and maintaining ISO QMS, EMS and OHSMS requirements at plant as per standards.
∎ Manage proper administration and overall safety and security systems to ensure a safe work environment at the plant.
∎ Act as the senior most level of escalation for plant level issues/ emergencies within the defined scope.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 55 years

∎ 15-20 years of relevant functional and people management experience in Steels or allied business.
