Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science. Experience in this field from any reputed University will be given preference.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Library data input through the internet.
∎ Maintain a record of new arrivals in the library's accession register.
∎ Maintain indexing and files for collections.
∎ Continuously providing support to the library members.
∎ Creating Student, Faculty, and Admin staff Library Membership.
∎ Creating cataloging Metadata and leveling each spine.
∎ Cataloging, Classification of all the books, Magazines, CDs, and other library resources, and Spine-leveling
∎ Sorting and shelving books according to categorization
∎ Provide a lending (issue-reissue) service regarding books and other resources.
∎ Counseling students about library discipline and library morality.
∎ Purchasing library books.
∎ Check-in and check-out of library books.
∎ Maintain records of books taken out and books brought back.
∎ Inspect the condition of books before and after check-out to ascertain any damage done by the borrower.
∎ Cataloging new arrivals.
∎ Organize the repair of damaged books.
∎ Journal Entry Spine leveling.
∎ Other duties assigned by the university authority
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 22 years
∎ Computer literacy- strong ability to use MS Office
∎ Attention to detail and good problem-solving ability
