Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Chemical/Petroleum/Civil/Electrical engineering or above degree from any reputed university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise the maintenance of all fire safety works in the premises.
∎ Ensure at all times that all safety requirements contained in the Emergency Response Plan are complied with.
∎ Conduct daily checks within the premises and remove or cause to be removed any hazard that is found within the premises.
∎ Conduct fire drills, train, coordinate and supervise the Company Emergency Response Team for the premises in fire-fighting and evacuation in the event of fire or other related emergencies. Train the occupants in the premises in firefighting and evacuation in the event of fire or other related emergencies.
∎ Do Fire Risk Assessment, Investigation to find out root cause from any Fire Related accident/Incident.
∎ Prepare & maintain all documents to liaise with Fire Service & others relevant authority.
∎ Communicate & Report to Relevant authority in any Fire safety issue.
∎ Establish appropriate firefighting techniques.
∎ Plan firefighting strategies.
∎ Ensure a high level of morale among fire fighters.
∎ Facilitate the training of fire fighters, evaluate the performance of fire fighters, Discipline and/or dismiss fire fighters if necessary.
∎ Inspect firefighting equipment and apparatus on a regular basis & Make recommendation on the replacement and/or repair of equipment.
∎ Ensure effective command and control techniques are in place at the scene of the fire & make all decisions concerning the appropriate response to and method fighting a fire.
∎ Direct all activities at the scene of the fire, ensure that fire fighters are responding in a safe and appropriate manner.
∎ Maintain records on incidence of fire, injuries and loss of property, Prepare reports on all areas of firefighting.
∎ Implement fire prevention education and awareness programs, and perform other related duties as required.
∎ Performs regular fire safety inspections of all facilities under their care, ensuring that they meet all necessary codes and regulations
∎ Any other responsibility defined by the top management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ 1-5 years experience in the related field. Sound knowledge on fire safety engineering, occupational health, safety & environment will get preference.
