Education:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
Requirements:
Additional Requirements:
∎ Proficient in using engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and other relevant tools for technical documentation, analysis, and reporting
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist in the planning, design, and modification of electrical systems, including the preparation of technical specifications and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
∎ Manage the operation and maintenance of a 22.5 MVA (33/0.415 KV) substation, ensuring reliability and safety.
∎ Oversee the operation and maintenance of diesel generator systems with a total installed capacity of 5000 KVA.
∎ Operate and maintain the Building Management System (BMS), including Building Automation System (BAS), Fire Alarm System (FAS), Public Address (PA) System, Telephone, and MATV systems.
∎ Ensure effective maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical control panels, switchgear, transformers, and diesel generators.
∎ Supervise junior electrical staff and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely project execution.
∎ Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports, along with comprehensive electrical documentation.
∎ Review, verify, and certify electrical bills, including contractor invoices and utility service charges.
∎ Supervise and coordinate the electrical maintenance of building services such as HVAC systems, lifts, escalators, fire fighting systems, and other critical utilities.
∎ Monitor energy meter readings and liaise with the accounts team to facilitate accurate billing.
∎ Provide technical support and training to junior engineers and technicians to enhance team capability.
∎ Collaborate with the procurement department to ensure the availability of electrical materials, tools, and spare parts.
∎ Support fund requisition processes and contribute to the planning and development of new electrical infrastructure projects.
∎ Address electrical complaints and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and external agencies to ensure timely resolution.
