Job Context
The Assistant Counsellor's duties provide primary counselling to students and guide students through the study abroad process
Job Responsibilities
Student advising and support
Initial consultations: Conduct initial meetings with prospective students and their parents, assessing their academic qualifications, career goals, and country preferences.
Study options: Advise students on university and course options in the target countries, considering factors like admission requirements, tuition fees, and specializations.
Documentation: Assist students with preparing all necessary application documents, including transcripts, academic certificates, portfolios, and standardized test results.
Statement of Purpose (SOP): Guide students on how to write effective SOPs and personal statements.
Application submission: Help students fill out and submit university application forms, and track the progress of these applications.
Communication and administration
Client communication: Maintain consistent and clear communication with students and their guardians via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
Record keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of all student interactions, applications, and visa processes.
Follow-ups: Conduct regular follow-ups with prospective students to manage leads and encourage application conversions.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports for management on counseling activities, student conversions, and application outcomes.

Bachelor's/Equivalent degree in any field. For any experienced person, HSC/Equivalent is acceptable.
Skills Required: Keeping Up-to-date with the Latest Updates, Understanding of Customer Requirements, Selling Skills Effective Communication Skills etc.
