Responsibilities & Context:
Handle civil, criminal, commercial, labour, credit recovery, and consumer-related legal matters.
Represent the company before courts, tribunals, government authorities, and other legal forums.
Manage credit recovery cases and take appropriate legal action against overdue accounts.
Draft and review legal notices, agreements, contracts, deeds, affidavits, petitions, and other legal documents.
Provide legal opinions and support different departments on regulatory and operational matters.
Maintain case files, hearing schedules, legal documents, and litigation records.
Coordinate with panel lawyers, law enforcement agencies, and relevant government authorities.
Monitor ongoing cases and submit regular updates to management.
Conduct legal research and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Support dispute resolution, negotiation, and settlement processes.
Visit courts and different business locations as required.
Protect the company’s legal and commercial interests.
