Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Civil Engineering from any recognised University/ Institute. Member of IEB (Institute of Engineers Bangladesh) will be preferred.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 20 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: This position is accountable for implementation of all types of construction project (renovation, maintenance, extension, new) of BRAC by planning, directing, coordinating and managing.
∎ A skilled and experienced implementation team will be leaded and coordinated with all other teams of Construction Department & client programme for successful completion of any project from inception to handover by maintain proper deign, by following technical specification and safety protocol, satisfying client requirements & functionality, by mitigating of risk, by keeping control on cost& time.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead the team to initiate a project, after getting requirements, by surveying the project site, analyzing the requirements, generating the cost estimation, budget and project proposal
∎ Lead the Construction team to initiate the Construction Project by plan for determining time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project
∎ Planning and staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel and guide the project implementation unit to establish work plan
∎ Collect, Review and prepare the project status reports and modifies schedules or plans as required
∎ Lead and guide the project team to prepares project reports and other documents for management, client (concern program), or others
∎ Check, review, analyze the technical problems and provide necessary solution, advice to the project team to resolve problems
∎ Coordinate with the design team, consultant, Govt. agencies and other units to mitigate the issues those are related to project activities
∎ Prepare and study the Contract documents like Specifications, B.O.Q (Bill of Quantities) and drawings thoroughly and compare with the Tender stage Civil documents and inform the authority in regards to any discrepancy
∎ Co-ordinate for all requirements of drawings, materials, manpower, transportation, etc. Guide the team to ensure accuracy of all drawings and documents with zero discrepancies
∎ Responsible for ensuring and maintaining quality and timely completion of the projects within budget and satisfaction of Consultant/Customers
∎ Lead the team and to ensure that all works are carried out as per the relevant specifications/requirements and ensure the standard of quality and accuracy of works and materials. Ensuring control of wastage of materials is kept below the expected norms
∎ Generate and provide suitable work instructions/method statements for all activities of company personnel/sub contractors' personnel where absence of such works instructions/method statements would adversely affect the quality of the final work
∎ Carries out supervisory and project management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, industry best practices, and as established by any applicable laws.

∎ Materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction
∎ Management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique and coordination of people and resources
∎ AutoCAD with sound knowledge of 2D modeling
∎ Able to operate Microsoft Project and office tools such as word, power point, excel etc.
∎ Minimum 20 years of experience in relevant field.
