Job Responsibilities:
∎ Bright River is looking for a passionate expert texture artist to join our talented team as we continue to develop and expand our 3D production facilities. Ideal candidates have at least intermediate expertise with creating realistic texture from reference photography. This role will work alongside experienced 3D artists to complete content for our high profile clients. This is a great opportunity to further develop skills, help the team and develop into a senior 3D texture artist.
∎ Create, edit, and optimize realistic detailed texture.
∎ Create a variety of models (furniture, electronics, apparel, etc) from photo and scanned reference.
∎ Understand the requirements and specifications of the client and texture according to those specifications.
∎ Communicate and collaborate effectively with the management team.
∎ Quickly learn and adapt to new tools, processes, and pipelines.
∎ Working with your assigned team leader, meet training and coaching expectations and assignments.
Additional Requirements:
∎ You have a minimum of 2-5 years experience with either substance designer, painter.
∎ Preferably 3Ds Max, Substance Suite and/or Photoshop are a plus.
∎ Maya users can also apply
∎ Excellent time management skills and ability to meet team deadlines.
∎ Intermediate texturing and modeling skills in a major 3d package (preferably 3DS Max, Maya, Blender, Substance Painter, Photoshop).
∎ ZBrush / Mudbox, Substance Suite and/or Photoshop are a plus.
∎ Excellent time management skills and ability to meet team deadlines.
∎ Attention to detail in all aspects of modelling, UV mapping, texturing and rendering.
∎ Basic knowledge of AR / VR applications and the PBR workflow.
∎ Able to work under pressure.
∎ Comfortable with delegating when needed.
∎ Friendly, helpful, and collaborative in a team based environment; self-motivated, results-oriented and self-starter.
∎ Effective verbal and written communication skills.
∎ Awareness of time constraints and time management.
∎ A good eye for detail is essential as models will need to be exact replicas of their real world versions.
