Responsibilities & Context:
∎ We’re in need of an Assistant Manager of Electrical Engineering with about minimum 5/7 years working experience in manufacturing industries. He should be very conversant with all the processes, procedures and terms related to electrical engineering of agro food manufacturing industries.
∎ Post: Assistant Manager of Electrical Engineering
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Programming and Configuration:
∎ ➢ Proficiency in programming PLCs (such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens,
∎ Schneider Electric, etc.) using ladder logic, function block diagrams, or other
∎ programming languages.
∎ ➢ Experience in configuring PLC hardware, including selecting appropriate
∎ modules and components based on project requirements.
∎ 2. Installation and Commissioning:
∎ ➢ Knowledge of industrial instrumentation principles and technologies,
∎ including sensors, transmitters, actuators, and control valves.
∎ ➢ Ability to specify, select, and install instrumentation devices for monitoring
∎ and controlling industrial processes.
∎ ➢ Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and
∎ instrumentation systems.
∎ ➢ Ensure compliance with engineering standards, codes, and safety regulations
∎ during installation and commissioning phases.
∎ ➢ Conduct inspections and quality assurance check to verify system
∎ functionality and performance.
∎ 3. Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
∎ ➢ Provide ongoing maintenance and support for electrical and instrumentation
∎ systems to ensure optimal operation.
∎ ➢ Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and instrumentation issues and failures
∎ promptly.
∎ 4. Project Management:
∎ ➢ Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure project
∎ milestones are met within budget and schedule.
∎ ➢ Prepare project schedules, budgets, and progress reports related to electrical
∎ and instrumentation tasks.
∎ ➢ Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or deviations from project
∎ plans.
∎ 5. Compliance and Safety:
∎ ➢ Ensure adherence to relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and
∎ standards.
∎ ➢ Participate in audits and inspections to verify compliance with regulatory
∎ requirements.
∎ 6. Documentation and Reporting:
∎ ➢ Maintain accurate records, documentation, and technical reports related to
∎ electrical and instrumentation activities.
∎ ➢ Prepare operation and maintenance manuals for electrical and instrumentation
∎ systems.
∎ ➢ Provide technical documentation and support for audits, inspections, and
∎ regulatory submissions.
