We recruit across various verticals for multinational corporations as well as leading business houses of the country.
∎ NESL now invites applications from competent candidates for the post of Wells Field Logistics Coordinator for employment with our prospective clients working in oil and gas industry.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ This position is required to coordinate field logistics requirement for Company drilling teams and external business partners. This position is based in Bibiyana on 14/14 days on/off rotational work and is open only to Bangladesh nationals/resident. This position must work closely with Company field drilling teams and shall coordinate crews’ arrival and departure, their accommodation, security clearance and field travels, etc. The North Pad drilling program may start in April and can last up to Q4 2023. The position is required to maintain interfaces with key stakeholders associated with the assigned project.
∎ Key KJRs include:
∎ Follow Company HSE principles, safety culture, RCA and incident investigation process.
∎ Identify work, health and environmental hazards and report them immediately.
∎ Full adherence to Company corporate and Bangladesh Business Unit (BBU) guidelines and expectations.
∎ Coordinate the communication with Wells (Drilling & Completion) business partners to get incoming and outgoing crew lists and routinely update and own the POB (Person on board) list, and be able to immediately produce the POB for any emergency.
∎ Coordinate lodging assignment based on Wells field team and operations requirements and communicate to Facility Management (FM) / camp boss.
∎ Communicate POB to FM and camp boss for food and transportation notification.
∎ Track weekly / monthly POB and report out to filed teams.
∎ Verify / approve accommodation invoices/bills as first approver, and track costs for monthly reporting.
∎ Coordinate and obtain security and medical clearances thru active collaboration with field security and medical teams, track to clear for prescribed trainings if required.
∎ Coordinate field crews’ transportation to site and back to lodging/hotel or Dhaka, if required, thru active collaboration with field transport coordinators.
∎ Coordinate field Expat crews’ transportation with Company transport, security teams and business partners’ Points of contacts (POC), if required.
∎ Facilitate communication with filed FM team for any lodging related issues or maintenance requirements based on guests’ feedback or routine observations.
∎ Lead the timely communication and head counts notification to the Company Field FM for food/snacks/refreshments./laundry delivery to the on-site or to off-site lodging locations.
∎ Support safety, security and emergency drills and close assigned actions advised by Safety, Security and EM advisors.
∎ Interface between field Drilling team, Company internal stakeholders such as FM, Safety, and security advisors and the external business partners with regard to working crews’ transportation, lodging, safety, security, emergency and medical needs.
∎ Captures logistics lessons learned, compile, and disseminates them to large audiences when required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 23 years
∎ 3-5 years of similar work experience is required, however work experience with drilling team in similar fashion is preferred.
∎ Evidence of prior project coordination or management focusing on meeting the goals is required (minimum 2 years).
∎ Evidence of work experience with strong demonstration of crew management and coordination (minimum 2 years).
∎ Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills both in Bangla and English in a diverse work environment with team from all over the world and people with low level of English proficiency.
∎ Able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with a customer service approach
∎ Deadline-oriented, assertive, and able to manage multiple and conflicting priorities while providing timely customer support.
∎ Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse environment, and act as a One-Team to meet the goals.
∎ Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
∎ Ability to take ownership of the work and results by clarifying expectations with stakeholders.
∎ Ability to take proactive steps to ensure full understanding of expectations and impact of work to others.
∎ Ability to proactively adjust priorities as conditions change and help others do the same.
∎ Ability to maintain confidentiality of the work and the integrity of the processes.
∎ Strong MS Office skills preferably in Excel and PowerPoint.
Salary:
∎ Negotiable
∎ Dominant work schedule will be 14 days on/ 14 days off basis. Work Schedule may vary as per Company`s requirement. Yearly two annual allowance/bonus. Cell phone allowance. Transportation allowance (as per company policy). Group life Insurance coverage. Hospitalization Insurance coverage.
