Job Responsibilities:
∎ As of NDT Engineer:
∎ Candidate shall have minimum NDE Level-II qualification in RT, UT,PT, MT. Shall have valid certification.
∎ Witness and monitor contractors welding activities, inspection and test in accordance with the approved Quality Plan, ITP, Quality Procedures and etc.
∎ To provide technical expertise on all NDT matters as required on projects;
∎ Assist and support the NDT coordinator or the project teams on all NDT matters;
∎ Prepare NDT procedures for assigned project
∎ Review clients' specifications and scopes of work, examine pipe metallurgy and prepare detailed NDT procedures to achieve maximum productivity in accordance with specified quality
∎ Review subcontractors' tender documents and technical qualifications
∎ Assist QHSE Department on subcontractor assessments/audits
∎ Review and approve subcontractors' NDT submissions
∎ Ensure that records are maintained for all NDT activities to demonstrate achievement of client requirements
∎ Maintain departmental project NDT files so that information is readily available to other department members.
∎ Carry out quality assessment measures of all the products ready to be shipped and incoming raw materials
∎ For better assessment must consider and study various check sheets including- QC inspection check sheets, Qc procedures, Health and safety environment check list, Audit question check sheet, Quality assurance check sheets ets.
∎ Take a thorough look at the plans, specifications, and blueprints to understand the product requirements
∎ Reject all the incoming raw materials fail to meet quality expectations and report the issue to the concerned department at the earliest
∎ Resolving quality-related issues adhering to deadlines
∎ Providing training to the quality assurance team
∎ Design an efficient design protocol which can be used across all domain
∎ Prepare documentation of the inspection process, which includes detailed reports and performance records
∎ Recommend improvement measures to the production process to ensure quality control standards are met
∎ Guide the production team about the quality control issues to enhance the quality of the product
∎ Monitor customer satisfaction levels
∎ Monitor the production phase at various levels
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ (7-10 Years) At least 7 years of experience for Degree holder and 10 years for Diploma holder in quality / NDT management in construction of cross country pipeline including station piping for the same. ASNT Level II certification for RT & UT
∎ Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
∎ Strong project management skills
∎ Strong Lean background (six sigma or similar)
∎ Experience of working in oil & gas industry
∎ Real-time experience in the same domain is preferred
∎ Excellent documentation and presentation skills
∎ Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office
∎ Profound knowledge of quality control standards
