Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Job ContextWe are currently seeking a dedicated male warehouse supervisor to oversee our warehouse operations and ensure the proper management of products. As a warehouse supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, organizing storage areas, and managing the movement of goods in and out of the warehouse. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be critical in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse. You will be involved in air and sea shipment activities. You will oversee the loading and unloading of all items, ensuring accurate counts and proper management. Moreover, you will ensure the timely and proper delivery of goods to clients, managing the logistics and coordination involved in the process. Job Responsibilities · Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products.· Ensure that all incoming and outgoing products are properly documented and accounted for.· Conduct regular physical counts of inventory to verify accuracy and identify any discrepancies.· Organize and maintain storage areas to optimize space utilization and facilitate efficient product retrieval.· Oversee the loading and unloading of trucks and ensure that goods are handled safely and securely.· Train and supervise warehouse staff to ensure that they adhere to established procedures and safety guidelines.· Monitor inventory levels and reorder products as needed to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.· Implement and enforce warehouse policies and procedures to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.· Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and logistics, to coordinate inventory management activities.· Prepare reports on warehouse operations, including inventory levels, stock movements, and order fulfillment metrics.· You will be involved in air and sea shipment activities. You will oversee the loading and unloading of all items, ensuring accurate counts and proper management.· You will ensure the timely and proper delivery of goods to clients, managing the logistics and coordination involved in the process.· You have to look after the warehouse, ensure it is kept neat and clean, and regularly check the products to ensure they remain in good condition. Skill Requirements· Bachelor's and Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.· Proven experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role.· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with warehouse staff, management, and external stakeholders.· Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software applications.· Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for warehouse operations.· Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.· Attention to detail and accuracy in performing inventory counts and maintaining records.· Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to quickly resolve issues as they arise.· Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends as required to meet operational needs. Additional Requirements· Age: 26 to 30 years.· Excellent communication and writing skills.· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.· Freshers are not allowed to apply.· Candidates must be from a reputed university.
