Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Greet and welcome guests in a courteous and professional manner.
∎ Present menus, answer questions about the menu items, and make recommendations.
∎ Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system.
∎ Serve food and beverages efficiently and accurately as per the service standards.
∎ Ensure proper sequence of service and timely delivery.
∎ Check with guests to ensure satisfaction and promptly address any issues.
∎ Set up tables with linen, silverware, and glasses before service.
∎ Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area during and after service.
∎ Clear tables and reset them for the next guests efficiently.
∎ Coordinate with kitchen staff and bartenders for smooth and timely service.
∎ Support colleagues in peak periods and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
∎ Promote daily specials, upsell menu items, and offer additional items to enhance the guest experience.
∎ Stay informed about food and beverage offerings and special promotions.
∎ Follow hygiene, grooming, and safety standards at all times.Comply with hotel policies and local health and safety regulations.
∎ Handle guest feedback or complaints professionally and report major issues to the supervisor.
∎ Record and relay any special guest requests to relevant departments.
