1. Minimum 2-3 years of video editing and post-production experience
2. Proficient in various non-linear video editing tools and other software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effect, Davinci Resolve)
3. Deep understanding of digital trends and editing principles
4. Creative and innovative
5. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
6. Must be experienced in Adobe Premier Pro & after Effects.
7. Also if you have Adobe Rush experience it’s preferable.

Overview:

In the video editor role, you will arrange, assemble, and process dozens of recorded and stock video clips into a seamless whole. You will work closely with the production and marketing teams to ensure alignment with project goals. You must adhere to established guidelines to effectively convey your message. Success in this role will be demonstrated by producing dynamic, entertaining, and audience-appropriate videos to expand market reach and increase viewer engagement.

Video Editor Job Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Edits videos to targeted length and specifications.
2. Handles and organizes raw and edited video files
3. Exports videos and facilitates mobile and web distribution
4. Shoots video and produces content as necessary
5. Generate ideas on video content and continuously research for what new can be done.
6. Edit videos and static graphic content mainly focused on social media marketing and YouTube.
7. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing and motion graphics.
