Experience Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Academic Leadership:
∎ Provide visionary leadership to enhance the quality of education within the Diploma in Engineering program.
∎ Collaborate with department heads and faculty to develop and implement innovative and effective teaching methodologies.
∎ Planning and implementation of short and long duration courses approved by Bangladesh Technical Education Board and NSDA (National Skill Development Authority)
∎ Curriculum Development:
∎ Oversee the development, evaluation, and enhancement of the curriculum to ensure it aligns with industry standards and prepares students for real-world challenges.
∎ Student Success:
∎ Implement strategies to support student success, retention, and graduation rates.
∎ Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students, addressing their academic and personal needs.
∎ Faculty Development:
∎ Support professional development opportunities for faculty to enhance teaching skills and stay abreast of industry advancements.
∎ Encourage research and scholarly activities among faculty members.
∎ Administrative Oversight:
∎ Collaborate with other members of the leadership team to ensure smooth administrative operations.
∎ Manage resources efficiently, including faculty, facilities, and budget allocation
∎ Quality Assurance:
∎ Implement and maintain quality assurance measures to uphold academic standards and accreditation requirements.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Substantial experience in academic leadership, preferably in a technical or engineering education setting
∎ Experience the Vocational Education, BTEB courses, and NSDA course patterns
∎ Strong understanding of curriculum development, accreditation processes, and academic administration
∎ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
∎ Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of faculty and staff.
