Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist the Principal in developing and implementing the academic curriculum for all technical programs.
∎ Monitor and evaluate the performance of faculty and ensure adherence to academic standards.
∎ Oversee the assessment and grading processes to ensure fairness and accuracy.
∎ Provide leadership and guidance in developing new training programs or enhancing existing ones.
∎ Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the academic community.
∎ Supervise and mentor teaching staff, providing feedback on performance.
∎ Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of faculty members.
∎ Ensure effective communication between faculty, staff, and students.
∎ Oversee student enrollment, orientation, and career development services.
∎ Handle student-related issues, including disciplinary actions and grievances.
∎ Ensure the availability of resources and support systems to promote student success.
∎ Assist in the development of budgets and resource allocation for academic programs.
∎ Coordinate with departments to ensure that training equipment and facilities meet the standards required for effective technical education. Ensure compliance with institutional policies, regulations, and accreditation requirements
∎ Collaborate with the principal, other administrative staff, and faculty members to implement strategic initiatives.
∎ Represent the institution in external meetings, conferences, and with industry partners.
∎ Foster relationships with local businesses and industries to enhance training opportunities for students
∎ Ensure the development and execution of quality control processes for training delivery.
∎ Regularly assess the effectiveness of programs and implement corrective actions when necessary.
∎ Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to ensure the center's offerings remain relevant.
∎ Assist the Principal in preparing reports for management and accreditation bodies.
∎ Lead or assist in organizing events, workshops, and conferences related to technical education.
