Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage routine operations and human resources of the corresponding team.
∎ Recommend technical methods, instruments, and necessary reagents and consumables.
∎ Ensure proficiency or ILC testing and internal quality control are performed in the laboratory.
∎ Monitor and periodically review SOPs for laboratories, evaluating calibration results and implementing quality improvement programs as needed.
∎ Lead, monitor, and control internal quality systems and audits for the entire laboratory, ensuring compliance with ISO 17025 and all relevant quality standards.
∎ Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of calibration results in compliance with laboratory codes of conduct.
∎ Investigate and resolve customer complaints and recommend optimization plans.
∎ Perform other assigned duties and tasks as required.
∎ Must hold an engineering degree or a relevant technical background.
∎ Knowledge of vendors in instrumentation and calibration of equipment.
∎ Basic understanding of the Accreditation Process and ISO/IEC 17025 Standard.
∎ Training in ISO/IEC 17025:2017 is preferable.
∎ We are currently looking an experienced Calibration Engineer to join our organization as a Technical Manager. The ideal candidate must be a technically minded problem-solver with a strong background in calibration. The role involves determining, agreeing upon, and recording customers' calibration requirements via email and telephone, calibrating instruments, recording results according to company procedures, identifying faults, proposing solutions, and managing the daily operations and maintenance of laboratory equipment and technical tasks both in-house and on-site. Candidates with experience in a large calibration laboratory, a strong desire to learn, and a team-player attitude are highly preferred.
