Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 6 to 7 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ Location: Maheskhali under Cox`s Bazar
∎ Duration: Duration of the Contract will be up to April 30, 2021
∎ Reporting to: Senior Team Leader of this project
∎ Working Conditions: This is a field based position in Maheshkhali under Cox`s Bazar District with regular (up to 30-40%) visit to project sites including the ones in Cox`s Bazar Sadar and Ramu.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 6 to 7 years professional experience for candidates with Bachelor in Civil Engineering and 6 years professional experience for candidates with Diploma in Civil Engineer or in repair/construction of shelters and/or repair/construction of public buildings.
∎ Experience working in shelter and or DRR program is an added advantage.
∎ Excellent interpersonal and team management skills.
∎ Gender awareness and a commitment to gender equality.
∎ Experience in maintaining stakeholder relations with local government, administration and civil society actors.
∎ Computer skills on computer software e. g MS office, internet and AutoCAD.
∎ Should have good understanding of MS Office applications.
∎ Commitment to and understanding of CARE core values and principles.
∎ Demonstrated competency to work independently with minimum supervision.
∎ Willingness to live and work in difficult and rapidly changing conditions.
∎ Ability and willingness to travel and stay in the field.
∎ Ensure and Promote GEDI and be GEDI sensitive, creating an enabling environment where diversity can flourish and all staff and stakeholders experience inclusion and appreciation.
