Subject Teachers: Duties and Responsibilities

We are looking for the Subject Teachers for the following subjects - Accounting, Biology, Business, Human Biology, ICT, Maths B, Pure Maths for our Senior Sections (O Level and SSC).

Our Subject Teachers are expected to

• Develop and implement syllabus, worksheet, lesson plans aligned with the school and curriculum standards.
• Include technology and interactive activities to make lessons engaging and relevant.
• Prepare question papers and examine answer scripts.Create, administer, and grade assessments to measure students’ understanding and progress.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a productive learning environment.
• Recognize and address individual needs, including those of students with learning disabilities.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior.
• Hold parent-teacher meeting to discuss student development and address any concerns.
• Participate in professional development workshops, training, and meetings to enhance teaching skills.
• Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and specialists to improve student outcomes.         
• Prepare reports and complete necessary documentation.·        
• Adhere to school policies and procedures.       
• Discharge other relevant responsibilities as and when needed.
