∎ At least 7 years of experience in mechanical construction, preferably in hospital projects. At least one hospital project in portfolio is a must.
∎ Sound knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
∎ Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
∎ Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
∎ Proficiency in relevant software applications.
∎ Ability to work effectively in a team and under supervision.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist in the supervision of the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
∎ Conduct regular site inspections and prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
∎ Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
∎ Review and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
∎ Assist in the preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates.
∎ Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship.
∎ Identify and resolve technical issues that may arise on site.
∎ Ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with relevant health, safety, and environmental standards.
∎ Job Summary
∎ The Jr Mechanical Engineer will assist the Mechanical Manager in the planning, execution, and supervision of all mechanical engineering works related to the construction of the hospital.
