Education:
∎ Diploma in Civil in Civil Engineering
∎ Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.

Requirements:

∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Minimum 7 years of experience in civil construction, preferably in hospital projects.
∎ At least one hospital of 200 beds project in portfolio is a must.
∎ Sound knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and materials.
∎ Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
∎ Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
∎ Proficiency in relevant software applications.
∎ Ability to work effectively in a team and under supervision.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist in the supervision of on-site civil engineering activities, ensuring compliance with designs, specifications, and safety regulations.
∎ Conduct regular site inspections and prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
∎ Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of works.
∎ Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
∎ Assist in the preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates.
∎ Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship.
∎ Identify and resolve technical issues that may arise on site.
∎ Ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with relevant health, safety, and environmental standards.
∎ Job Summary: The Diploma Civil Engineer will assist the Project Manager in the planning, execution, and supervision of all civil engineering works related to the construction of the hospital.
