Job Context:
∎ Meghna Group of Industries (MGI) is one of the leading conglomerates of Bangladesh. To work on the Project Department, MGI is looking for a highly proactive and skilled professional.
∎ This position "Structural Engineer" will be responsible for the activities concerning structural engineering associated with the project department in Meghna group of industries.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Design and analyze the high rise, steel and multistoried R.C.C (Reinforced cement concrete) building structure with the concern of B.N.B.C (Bangladesh National Building Code), ACI (American Concrete Institute) code, BS (British Standard) Code.
∎ Pre fabricate the Industrial steel structure by using related Software.
∎ Prepare the design data, design basis, design calculation and design Instructions for different Projects.
∎ Coordinate the ongoing project sites and provide possible solutions as per the requirement.
∎ Monitor the project progress by reviewing the engineering drawing, quality control and prepare the report.
∎ Coordination with senior architect, contractors and consultants.
∎ Work on the design of rigid pavement, effluent treatment plant with the proper maintenance of industrial law.
∎ Prepare structural design requirements for new projects in compliance with local and international codes and conduct.
∎ Monitor the supply chain management related the ongoing project by the coordination with other departments.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Sound knowledge on Microsoft office package
∎ Skills on using STAADpro, ETABS, MIDAS, TEKLA, AutoCAD Civil 2D design/drafting or any other advanced Civil Engineering Design Software
∎ Ability of hazards identification and risk management
∎ Positive approach to critical situation handling
∎ Sound interpersonal skill
