Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee daily store operations including receipt, storage, issue, and dispatch of materials.
∎ Maintain proper records of incoming and outgoing inventory using ERP systems.
∎ Ensure timely and accurate documentation such as Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Material Issue Notes (MIN), etc.
∎ Monitor inventory levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts; conduct periodic stock audits.
∎ Coordinate with production, purchase, and quality departments to ensure material availability.
∎ Implement and monitor FIFO/LIFO/FEFO systems based on material type and shelf life.
∎ Ensure safe and organized storage of components, tools, lubricants, and finished goods.
∎ Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports and submit them to the management.
∎ Supervise, train, and evaluate store assistants and material handlers.
∎ Handle non-conforming, slow-moving, or obsolete items as per company policy.
∎ Ensure compliance with 5S, safety, and factory audit requirements.
∎ The Store Incharge is responsible for managing the inventory, material handling, and warehousing operations of the automobile factory. This role ensures that all materials, parts, and components are available and accounted for to support uninterrupted production. The Store Incharge also oversees store staff and ensures adherence to safety, quality, and audit standards.
