Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Data cleaning, preparation and analysis.
∎ Seeking out suitable secondary datasets for project purposes.
∎ Helping manage primary data collection, where appropriate.
∎ Preparation of formal statistical reports in APA or journal-specific style.
∎ Preparing and refining data visualisations and visual abstract.
∎ Literature scoping; preliminary manuscript development
∎ Article submission management
∎ Assisting with revise and resubmit processes.
∎ Tightly managing your employer’s work calendar and priorities, helping develop grant and other reports for work.
∎ Are you a skilled statistician with an interest and some demonstrable experience in academic research? Do you have experience working with statistical software, as well as academic CMS systems?
∎ The researcher is a multidisciplinary Australian academic with deep interest in the development/health sector in Bangladesh. He is seeking a full time statistician and aide. Your role will be 80% research-related, 20% admin/project management assistance (to assist with your employer’s teaching and service roles).
∎ High level statistical skill and advanced software experience essential. Research and administrative experience desirable. Experience and skill with APA style tables and figures highly desirable. Knowledge of AI systems, and data visualisation, GIS would be ideal.
∎ The working week for this role is Monday to Friday, aligned with Australian working hours.
