Responsibilities & Context:
Lumana Healthcare Centre is seeking a compassionate, responsible, and patient-focused Staff Nurse to provide quality healthcare support and ensure smooth clinical operations. The selected candidate will assist physicians, monitor patient conditions, maintain nursing documentation, and deliver professional patient care while following healthcare safety and hygiene standards.
Job Responsibilities
Provide professional nursing care to patients in OPD/IPD and diagnostic sections.
Monitor and record patient vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration, and oxygen saturation.
Assist doctors during patient examinations, treatments, and minor procedures.
Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Collect blood and other samples for laboratory investigations when required.
Maintain accurate nursing records, patient reports, and documentation.
Ensure infection prevention, cleanliness, and proper sterilization procedures.
Prepare and maintain medical equipment and treatment rooms.
Counsel patients and attendants regarding medication, treatment, and follow-up care.
Handle emergency situations and provide first aid support when necessary.
Ensure patient comfort, safety, confidentiality, and ethical healthcare practices.
Coordinate with reception, laboratory, and medical staff for smooth patient service.
Follow all organizational policies, nursing standards, and healthcare regulations.
Perform any other nursing-related responsibilities assigned by management.
Candidates residing in Gazipur or nearby areas will be given preference. Applicants should be willing to work at Lumana Healthcare Centre and be able to commute regularly to the workplace.
