Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Nursing, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Nursing
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Take care of thalassemia patients in the transfusion ward.
∎ Put intravenous cannula in children and adult patients.
∎ Document lab reports and other findings in the patient chart.
∎ Answer patient queries over the telephone.
∎ Prepare the patients for consultation.
∎ Outdoor and indoor blood sample collection.
∎ Proper knowledge about Transfusion reaction and immediate action.
