∎ Preference will be given to candidates with a bachelor's degree or above in relevant fields such as civil engineering, transportation engineering, or engineering management that actually covers the technical principles and management methods of highway engineering construction, providing a solid theoretical foundation for quantity surveying work.
∎ Have at least 3 - 5 years of experience in quantity surveying for highway or large - scale infrastructure projects. Candidates with experience in similar fully - enclosed highway projects will be given priority, as they are familiar with the characteristics and processes of quantity surveying in highway projects and can quickly adapt to the work of this project.
∎ Have experience in quantity surveying for projects under the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) general contracting model. In the EPC model, quantity surveying involves complex situations such as design changes and coordination between procurement and construction. Candidates with this experience can better handle the quantity surveying challenges in the project.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Based on the EPC contract, construction drawings, technical specifications, and contract measurement rules, accurately calculate the quantities of various sub - projects (such as subgrade, pavement, bridges, tunnels, etc.). Regularly verify the data with the construction team to ensure its accuracy, and comply with local Bangladeshi and international (such as FIDIC contract conditions) measurement specifications.
∎ Be responsible for preparing engineering quantity measurement documents (measurement statements, measurement payment certificates, etc.), organizing and archiving them, and submitting them on time according to the project progress and measurement cycle as the basis for project payment.
∎ Handle the changes in engineering quantities caused by project changes (design changes, project negotiations, etc.), and update the measurement documents and records.
∎ Study the measurement and payment clauses in the EPC contract, supervise the contract implementation, identify and analyze the factors affecting measurement and payment, provide early warnings to the project management team, and ensure that the project operates in accordance with the contract.
∎ Communicate closely with the internal design, construction, quality control, and finance teams of the project. Understand the design intent and changes from the design team, verify the engineering quantities with the construction team, collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that the measured projects meet the quality standards, and cooperate with the finance team to complete the payment process.
∎ Evaluate the impact of measurement results on the project progress, and promptly resolve the issues of project payment delays caused by measurement. At the same time, pay attention to the impact of project progress on the measurement work, and adjust the measurement plan and methods in a timely manner.
∎ Ensure that the quality of measured projects meets the contract requirements and relevant standards, and handle unqualified projects in accordance with the regulations. Cooperate with the quality inspection work and provide measurement data support.
∎ Identify the risk factors in the measurement work (such as deviations in understanding measurement rules, calculation errors, contract clause disputes, etc.), develop response measures, conduct regular self - inspections and self - corrections, and reduce the impact of risks.
