Education:
∎ Bachelor degree in Engineering (IPE/ chemical/ Mechanical/ Electrical) or Environmental Science or Chemistry with good academic background
Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assisting QMS & EHS department in preparing, updating and distributing documents (policy, procedure, forms, etc.) related to Quality Management System (QMS) and Environment and Health and safety (EHS) Management System.
∎ Assisting QMS & EHS department in conducting internal audits on the requirement of different standards including ISO 9001, ISO1400, ISO 45001 and so on.
∎ Monitoring the implementation status of corrective / preventive actions with the concerned department to address Corrective Action Request, Customer Complaint and Non-conformities detected in internal and external audits and submitting report to the management.
∎ Monitoring the implementation of operational control in line with QMS and EHS Instruction Manuals and reporting to the management.
∎ Supervising the operation of ETP to ensure the desired outcomes (meeting regulatory requirements) from the plant.
∎ Identifying Environmental Aspects and Occupational Health and Safety Hazards of the factory and its suppliers and contractors.
∎ To facilitate setting, monitoring and reporting the implementation status of the EHS objectives.
∎ Organizing and preparing report on mock drill on emergency preparedness procedures.
∎ Coordinating with other concerned department for EHS related issues and maintaining liaison with testing agencies like BCSIR, AEC, BUET, DU, TICI etc. for monitoring the air and water quality.
∎ Conducting/Facilitating training on QMS & EHS for creating awareness in the organization.
∎ Attending other issues as per the directives of the management.
∎ PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
