Educational Requirements:
∎ The incumbent should be Masters preferably from Pharmacy background.
∎ MBA from reputed institutions with professional degree in Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 12 to 15 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Formulate procurement plan for both local and imported RM & PM on the basis of present stock and manufacturing demand to ensure optimum level of RM & PM stock.
∎ Ensure source development for new or existing materials/ingredients with a view to maintain best quality at the competitive price
∎ Formulate procurement policies and review of the same to ensure the best opportunity for cost effectiveness of the organization.
∎ Finalize the purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods of Local raw & packing materials, stationery/supply/promotional items and all other scheduled and non-scheduled items.
∎ Provide all necessary assistance to the Head of Procurement on coordination and value contribution relevant to Procurement in line with industry standards as well as pharma regulatory requirements.
∎ Monitor submission & approval of Block list, DGDA related activities, opening of LC in due time, follow up and oversee the indenters & suppliers' activities to ensure materials reach in time with approved specification.
∎ Liaise with relevant departments like QO, PMD, PPIC and Production in ensuring the availability of materials at the right time.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Minimum 12-15 years of procurement and supply chain experience in reputed local/multinational pharmaceutical industry.
∎ Excellent written/oral communication skills (both English and Bangla) with strong analytical, strategic thinking, organizational, interpersonal competencies with commendable negotiation skills.
∎ Sound knowledge in computer especially in MS office package is a must.
∎ Good knowledge over WHO cGMP, MHRA, US-FDA, ISO 9001 and other relevant global regulations. Highly competent on the modern concept of SCM including EOQ, JIT, HML classification, FSN classification etc.
∎ The incumbent should be self-driven to work under pressure, result oriented with 'can do' attitude and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
∎ Age limit is within 45 (forty five) years. But it may be relaxed for qualified and experienced candidates.
