Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Overseeing overall operations of procurement team of the company.
∎ Identify, evaluate and establish relationships with reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms, ensure maximum facilities and GP.
∎ Analyze market trends and prices to ensure cost-effective purchasing strategies and stay ahead of industry changes.
∎ Ensure that all products meet quality standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
∎ Monitor stock levels, forecast demand and manage reorder processes to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
∎ Develop and manage the purchasing budget, ensuring adherence to financial constraints and maximizing cost efficiency.
∎ Create and process purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy in transactions.
∎ Work closely with other departments to align purchasing needs with organizational goals.
∎ Regularly assess supplier performance by checking, identifying and solving product quality related issues and implement improvement plans if necessary.
∎ Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring continuity of supply.
∎ Prepare reports on purchasing activities, costs and supplier performance to inform strategic decision-making.
∎ Any other task assigns by management
