∎ APL (BANGLADESH) PVT LTD. is a shareholding subsidiary of French container shipping group CMA CGM.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Complete all needed Operation activities of the Port, Customs and Regulators offices.
∎ Vessel arrival/departure notifications to the Commercial team on timely
∎ Maintain vigilance over vessel loading and unloading performance
∎ Optimize loading of empty containers
∎ Getting internal Teams feedback, forward Booking Forecast to Central Planners
∎ Once the berthing has been arranged, notify this to the Marine Department/Port Control.
∎ Communicate partners on service vessels, and coordinate with Regional Feeder Team to ensure schedule fidelity, and make adjustment if needed as per the commercial requirements
∎ On ship planning and other matters, communicate with the vessel command, crew, and top officer
∎ Communicate to T/S port, central planners, and commercial team after vessel departures
∎ Update PRS system and communicate to overseas Team prior to vessels berthing
∎ After vessel departure, update to the PCR team.
∎ Prepare Bay/Load Plans before vessel arrivals and confirm accuracy with MAC3/STOWMAN application
∎ Generate a vessel utilization report for all services
Additional Requirements:
∎ 3-5 years in Shipping Line /Logistics/Freight Forwarding
∎ Sea Port Operation knowledge/services/stakeholders' relationship
∎ Knowledge of the legal and/ or regulatory frame
∎ Knowledge of commercial policy and offers
∎ Strong communication/presentation skills in English (verbal/e-mail/power point)
∎ Knowledge on SAP based Solutions and IT applications
