Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customer’s expectations and company’s objectives.
∎ Analyze sales figures, customer’s reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock.
∎ Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales.
∎ Outlet visit and Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately.
∎ Produce layout plans for stores and maintain store shelves and inventory.
∎ Forecast profits/sales and plan budgets.
∎ Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc.
∎ Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals.
∎ Prepare business plan as per distribution channel and merchandising categories including OTB (Open to Buy) analysis & season wise budget planning.
∎ Production follow-up & Quality inspection, ensures that production standards are met and maintained for a given product before it leaves the place it’s manufactured in.
∎ To establish a solid backward linkage by developing different vendors for producing and supplying products as per needs both from locally and internationally.
∎ Carry out any directives given by The Management, for betterment of the organization.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Be honest, trustworthy, respectful and flexible.
∎ Proven working experience in merchandising and Strong analytical skills.
∎ Should have sound knowledge of all kinds of Leather Products.
∎ Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
∎ Up-to-date with the latest merchandising trends and best practices.
∎ Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skill levels.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
∎ Strong listening, presentation and decision making skills.
Salary: Negotiable
