Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure the tolls are clean and working properly, which are used during Speech and language therapy.
∎ Checking the consultant prescription summary thoroughly before providing any kind of speech and language therapy.
∎ Proper examination of the patient before approaching for therapies.
∎ Proper documentation of assessment and progression of the patients.
∎ In detail explanation of the techniques or tools/ equipment before starting any kind therapy.
∎ Patients are asked to give their Valuables to their attendee. (For Outpatient and In-Patient)
∎ In case of unconscious patient, the Valuables are removed in presence of corresponding sister/attendant.
∎ Counseling / educate the patients and their family / care giver to prevent further injury or disability related to disease.
∎ Effective communication with other health care professionals to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services.
∎ Ensure that incidence or emergency CODE are reported immediately and recorded accordingly
∎ Inform immediately to consultants, In-charge/ HOD in case of any emergency related to patients care and illness.
∎ Strictly follow the instruction of the In-charge and HOD.
∎ Performs all other tasks as required by the departmental rules and regulations.
