Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure preparation of Import General Manifest (IGM) and input all information in ASYCUDA system with 100% accuracy.
∎ Ensure regular communication with agents/ customers regarding cargo arrival information.
∎ Provide pre-alerts to shippers.
∎ Ensure Cargo un-stuffing at the port from import containers.
∎ Timely issue DO (Delivery Order) & NOC (No Objection Certificate) to customers for shipment of cargo/goods.
∎ Pro-actively monitor shipment in-transit and keep customer appraised with regards to arrival times, delays or transit issues and help to ensure we meet or exceed customer expectations at all times.
∎ Ensure all communications are professional, timely and appropriately handled.
∎ Ensure all documentation is supplied in a timely manner to customer and/or broker for customs purposes as required.
∎ Maintain correspond with co-loaders for Bill of Lading (B/L) collection & arrival notice.
∎ Assist the C&F department in maintaining proper liaison with custom authorities to ensure assessments and clearing procedure is done on time.
∎ Perform all other functions as required from Management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Conversant with ASYCUDA and all import formalities and regulations.
∎ Working knowledge of port functions, C&F operations and communications with various shipping lines.
∎ Proficient in communicating in English with customers, shippers, shipping lines and other stakeholders.
∎ Proficient in computer applications; eg. Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.
