∎ NESL now invites applications from competent candidates for the post of Software Engineer for employment with our prospective clients working in oil and gas industry.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop, manage, and support digital solutions as assigned by Product Owner/Team Lead in alignment with Company strategy and technology guideline. Use modern software development best practices, patterns, and standard tools to develop and maintain quality business-enabling solutions?that include?modularity, scalability, observability, and?integration.
∎ Defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions, and supporting system implementation
∎ Work in an agile DevOps team and perform coding, CI/CD tooling, authoring, and contributing to technical documentation and configuration changes to cloud-enabled apps.?
∎ Perform as a team member on an Agile team focused on software development and support, working in an Agile Framework environment.
∎ Provide on-going operational support of existing applications including upgrades, diagnoses, troubleshoot, defect fixes and any Process change activities.
∎ Function as integrator between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet client's business needs.
∎ Partner with Product Owner/Team Lead and business stakeholders to ensure timely and quality delivery of product releases and enhancements that drive business value and customer satisfaction.
∎ R&D and innovation with new tools, technologies, and industry practices.
∎ Follow and enforce Information Protection (IP) and Cyber security Policy of the company.
∎ Maintain liaison with and follow directives set forth by the company's IT Department.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Professional experience in two or more of the following: C#, Python, Azure, APIs, Web technologies (ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Angular, JavaScript, Restful Web APIs), Microsoft power platform, among others; with proven ability to identify appropriate service(s), tools, and technologies to address business requirements.
∎ Experience in Software Development Lifecycle (plan, design, develop, test, release, maintain and support, decommission).
∎ Minimum 5 years professional experience in Software Development in IT Enabled Service, Software Company.
∎ Experience in designing and developing reports in Crystal Report, RDLC, Telerik Repotting etc.
∎ Experience with Git & Microsoft Azure DevOps.
∎ Experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus.
∎ Proven proficiency in two or more of the following: C#, Python, Azure, APIs, Web technologies (ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Angular, JavaScript, Restful Web APIs), Microsoft power platform, among others; with proven ability to identify appropriate service(s), tools, and technologies to address business requirements.
∎ Knowledge in agile frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, Kanban etc.
∎ Ability to reverse engineer legacy code and convert it to modern features.
∎ Awareness working experience with Git & Microsoft Azure DevOps in the DevOps space and CI/CD processes, source control practices, automated release management, automated testing, source code analysis (code quality and static and application security testing)
∎ Capable of understanding business problems and designing and developing efficient solutions for them.
∎ Must be able to work in a team or in an individual. Capable of working under tight schedule. Must be honest, loyal, ethical and have good manners.
∎ Strong communication and writing skills in English.
Salary:
∎ Negotiable
∎ Dominant work schedule will be 5 days on / 2 days off basis. Work Schedule may vary as per Company`s requirement. Yearly two annual allowance/bonus. Cell phone allowance. Group life Insurance coverage. Hospitalization Insurance coverage.
