Educational Requirements:
∎ MSc. /BSc. Or Equivalent Degree in Civil Engineering is required. MSc. Or Equivalent degree will be preferred.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ Based in Ukhiya Team Office under CARE Cox`s Bazar Field Office
∎ Contract Duration: The duration of the contract is up to October 31, 2019 with possibility of extension.
∎ Reporting to: Technical Coordinator-Infrastructure.
∎ Working Conditions: Based at Ukhiya Team Office Under Care Cox` Bazar Field Office with frequent field visits.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years of experience in the relevant field with a sound 2 years' professional experience in the construction of shelter and/or construction of civil engineering works in UN or I/NGO activities, or other similar experience.
∎ Proficiency in Chittagonian language.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bangla.
∎ Good computer skills on Microsoft Office application, Autocad and typing skill in Bangla software.
∎ Commitment to and understanding of CARE core values and principles.
∎ Demonstrated competency to work independently with minimum supervision.
∎ Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse organization.
∎ Willingness to live and work in difficult and rapidly changing conditions.
∎ Ability and willingness to travel and stay in the field.
∎ Constructive and pro-active communication with a wide variety of actors and stakeholders.
∎ Excellent interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills.
∎ Ensure and Promote GEDI and be GEDI sensitive, creating an enabling environment where diversity can flourish and all staff and stakeholders experience inclusion and appreciation.
