Job Context:
∎ Introduction: The pace of urbanization is faster than ever in human history. By 2050 more than 50% population of developing countries will be living in urban areas. Unplanned and rapid urban development has created challenges of traffic congestion, pollution, water logging, and many more. To improve the urban conditions investments made by the government, development sector and private often fails to bring the desired result without proper research, community engagement, and design. Our field experience of working with communities and managing public services enables Bhumijo to develop effective solutions. The range of services provided by Bhumijo Planning and Design includes research, urban planning and design, landscape design, building and interior design and construction.
∎ Bhumijo has a dynamic team of Architects and engineers trained at international organizations. The organization has won several national and international awards. Bhumijo is looking for a dynamic and energetic member of its design team.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Understanding of Basic Architectural/ Civil working drawing
∎ Basic knowledge building civil, electrical, plumbing, and finishing etc.
∎ Prepare cost estimates for materials, equipment, or labor
∎ To manage construction labor and sub-contractors.
∎ Quality control of construction
∎ To prepare contractor bill as per quality of completed works
∎ Maintain quality work in scheduled time.
∎ Coordinate with Procurement, and Delivery Department, Ensure proper Inventory of all stores/ materials at site.
∎ To supervise construction works.
∎ Preparing construction plan and follow up the plan.
∎ Prepare report on progress of construction work weekly/daily basis.
∎ Any other relevant task assigned by organization.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 22 years
∎ Must Have Sound Knowledge Of construction techniques and materials
∎ Professional knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office will get preference.
∎ Ability to work in a team with Architects/ Civil Engineer and other co-workers.
Salary:
∎ BDT 15,000-20,000 per month (Depending on experience)
