Education:
∎ Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
∎ Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field.

Requirements:

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 32 years
∎ 5-7 years of experience in shipping and Freight Forwarding.
∎ Proven track record of developing and implementing successful business development strategies and achieving sales targets.
∎ Strong communication skills in both English and Bangla.
∎ Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
∎ Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
∎ Strong customer focus and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
∎ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee the provision of ocean transportation intermediary services to customers.
∎ Develop, implement, and continuously enhance ocean import/export operational procedures.
∎ Establish and manage relationships with origin counterparts and destination partners.
∎ Strategically grow a network of ocean carriers.
∎ Lead negotiation of rates and contracts with ocean carriers.
∎ Help resolve issues with shipping lines, ports and container freight stations, and carriers.
∎ Sound knowledge & experience on charter party, recap terms, preparation of other related documentation, lay time calculation, international shipping laws and maritime clauses related to carriage of goods by sea act.
∎ All formalities related to Mother vessel receiving and sailing from the Ports.
∎ Communicate with vessel owner, master, and consignee for smooth vessel operation at both Chattogram and Mongla ports.
∎ Responsible for maintaining communication and supervision of ongoing mother vessel operation & overseeing onboard vessel cargo discharging operations.
∎ Oversee compliance with applicable regulations, other government requirements and filings, and company standards.
