Sewing Machine Operator

Machine Operation: Run single-needle, overlock, flatlock, bar-tack, or multi-needle industrial sewing machines.

Setup & Threading: Load spools of thread, adjust tensions, insert bobbins, change needles, and set up machines based on fabric types.

Assembly: Align cut fabric pieces, match patterns or dye lots, and sew seams, collars, sleeves, or linings according to work orders.

Quality Control: Inspect finished stitches and pieces for defects, loose threads, or skipped stitches, and remove or flag damaged items.

Basic Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning, oiling, and minor troubleshooting to prevent line downtime.
