∎ Diploma/BSC in Civil Engineering.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 10 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ Location: Maheskhali, Ramu & Cox`s Bazar Sadar
∎ Duration: Duration of the Contract will be up to April 30, 2021
∎ Reporting to: Technical Coordinator - Shelter with matrix relation with Technical Coordinator, DRR
∎ Working Conditions: This is a field based position in Maheshkhali, Ramua, Cox`s Bazar Sadar upazila

Additional Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 years professional experience in repair/construction of shelters and/or repair/construction of public buildings.
∎ Experience working in shelter and or DRR program is an added advantage.
∎ Good interpersonal and team management skills.
∎ Computer skills on computer software e. g MS office, internet and AutoCAD.
∎ Gender awareness and a commitment to gender equality.
∎ Experience in maintaining stakeholder relations with local government, administration and civil society actors.
∎ Good communication and report writing skill in English and Bangla.
∎ Commitment to and understanding of CARE core values and principles.
∎ Demonstrated competency to work independently with minimum supervision.
∎ Willingness to live and work in difficult and rapidly changing conditions.
∎ Ability and willingness to travel and stay in the field.
∎ Ensure and Promote GEDI and be GEDI sensitive, creating an enabling environment where diversity can flourish and all staff and stakeholders experience inclusion and appreciation.
