Responsibilities & Context:
Provide direct and high-quality nursing care to patients.
Assess patients’ conditions, monitor vital signs, and report changes promptly.
Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed.
Prepare patients for procedures and assist doctors during medical interventions.
Maintain accurate patient records, nursing notes, and treatment charts.
Supervise and guide junior nurses and nursing assistants.
Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care.
Ensure proper infection prevention and control practices.
Manage emergency situations and provide immediate nursing interventions.
Educate patients and their families about treatment, medication, and discharge care.
Ensure proper handling and maintenance of medical equipment.
Monitor ward activities and maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment.
Participate in staff training, clinical audits, and quality-improvement activities.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, nursing standards, and professional ethics.
