Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Vehicle Diagnosis: Identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical issues in automobiles using diagnostic tools and equipment.
∎ Repairs and Maintenance: Perform repairs, adjustments, and maintenance tasks on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical components.
∎ Troubleshooting: Investigate and troubleshoot complex vehicle problems, analyze symptoms, and determine appropriate solutions.
∎ Service Documentation: Create and maintain accurate records of service and repair activities, including parts used, labor hours, and service performed.
∎ Customer Interaction: Interact with customers to understand their vehicle concerns, explain repairs and maintenance required provide cost estimates, and address any questions or concerns they may have.
∎ Parts Management: Identify and procure necessary parts and components for vehicle repairs, ensuring their quality and compatibility with the vehicle.
∎ Compliance with Standards: Adhere to industry safety standards, regulations, and procedures while performing repairs and maintenance tasks.
∎ Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct performance tests, inspections, and quality checks to ensure proper functioning and reliability of repaired vehicles.
∎ Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other automotive technicians and professionals to share knowledge, seek assistance, and maintain a productive work environment.
∎ Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies, repair techniques, and industry trends through training programs and self-study.
∎ Executing any other assignment as and when required by the authority.
