Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for the Overall operation of all construction projects.
∎ Break projects into achievable actions and set timeframes.
∎ Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.
∎ Prepare budgets.
∎ Plan, direct, coordinate and lead activities of engineering department's project to ensure that goals, objectives and all elements of the company/concern are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
∎ Review construction work funding application/note sheet/budget to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to various phases of projects.
∎ Establish work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arrange for assignment of project personnel.
∎ Responsible for supervisor of all consultants and all planning/administrative staff assigned to the Project to ensure it is on schedule and within budget.
∎ Outline work plan to assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority.
∎ Review status reports prepared by projects personnel and modify schedules or plans as required.
∎ Prepare and review projects reports for presentation to Head of Operation and Managing Director.
∎ Confer with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
∎ Coordinate activities of governmental organizations, private sector business interests and the Team of Consultants & Contractors.
∎ Responsible for overall quality and management of all construction related projects work.
∎ Oversee budget, ensure financial accountability.
∎ Recommend personnel for program/project implementations.
∎ Supervise program delivery asses client needs.
∎ Recognize and solve potential problems and evaluate project effectively.
∎ Network with local, Govt. international agencies, equipment suppliers, contractor's utility service providers and private sector business interests for future program development etc. in consultation with Business Development wing.
∎ Confirming engineering departments operations enhancing new business-like Dredging, Civil Aviation's Constructions work, all Sister Concerned Engineering Activities and others outside company/organizations' engineering functions ensuring own unit/wing/department revenue generation.
∎ Any other activities assigned by the management from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Candidate must willing to visit and stay (if required) at the project site all over Bangladesh.
∎ Must have extensive experience in high-rise building construction work.
∎ Expertise in soft drawing and coordination drawing is preferred.
∎ Must be expert on MS Office and Excel.
∎ Good knowledge about Computer operating and Specially MS Excel & Auto CAD.
∎ Strong analytical and technical trouble shooting skills, decision-making capabilities with leadership quality and project management skills.
