Job Responsibilities:
∎ Operate and maintain of steam based power plants and its machineries such as Steam Turbine, water treatment equipment, high-pressure boilers, and cooling water systems.
∎ Perform periodic maintenance, corrective actions and break down maintenance of the high pressure boiler and turbine plant and machinery in a cost effective manner.
∎ Prepare costing report against production of gas, steam, water and electrical power on daily basis for ensuring cost optimization of steam, electrical power transmission and distribution system.
∎ Prepare & control budgetary provisions.
∎ Monitoring safety program to ensure PPEs are available and monitoring to make use of it during their duty.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Graduate Engineer should have at least 5 years' experience in maintenance of mechanical equipment in a steam based power plant, where in 2 years in a similar position and Diploma Engineer should have at least 8 years' experience where in 4 years in a similar position.
∎ Proficiency to independently find, evaluate, troubleshoot root cause of complex nature of faults arising from O&M of power plants and recommend to fix those accurately and with prudent technical requirements
∎ Knowledge on international codes and standards
∎ Adequate knowledge on prudent engineering practices encompassing power plants' design, construction and O&M
